Jim Itoro is one of the hottest gospel acts in the city of Uyo. Jim Itoro hails from Akwa Ibom state in Oruk Anam Local Government Area, Nigeria. Jim Itoro is a gospel artiste with an unusual flare and grace for worship even as a lifestyle. He discovered his calling as a worship minister at a very tender age. He is Jim Itoro, a graduate of Political Science and Public Administration, University of Uyo.
As a member of the Student Christian Movement(SCM) Uniuyo, he served as their Evangelism Director, Academic Director and Bible Study Secretary. His single titled "Tears from My Eyes", according to the artiste himself, was birthed from a deep meditation on the love of Christ towards him & humanity as a whole. It inspired him to write a song to show his appreciation of Christ's love towards him.
